DRINK UP!

Roots soak up water from the body to hydrate hair which then boosts growth. If the body doesn't have enough water to reach the scalp, your hair can become dry, brittle, and potentially stop growing. Water hydrates our body, regulates our circulatory system, and lubricates our hair follicles. Water is the key source of minerals which are the most important nutrients for hair. This in turn stimulates hair growth. In fact, water accounts for almost 25% of the weight of a single strand of hair. Drinking at least two liters of water a day will help the strength of your hair, increasing growth. Dehydration immediately halts hair growth.  Now let's briefly discuss hard water. Hard water contains a buildup of minerals, such as calcium and magnesium. This produces a film on the hair, making it difficult for moisture to penetrate. As a result, the hair is left dry and prone to breakage. Leave these issues unresolved and it could even lead to hair loss. Do not depend on hair products alone to become a magician if you are not properly taken care of your hair from the inside out. Hair care products aid in hair growth they cannot work alone. Essentially, drinking enough water allows every system in the body to function properly and since we are made up of about 60% water, it's best to gulp generously.
